Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar to Guptkashi (Drive ~210 km / 8 hrs)

We begin our journey from the sacred ghats of Haridwar. As we drive past the Ganges and into the hills, the cities fade and the calm begins.
Check into a hotel in Guptkashi — a small, spiritual town with snow peaks in the distance.
🛏️ Overnight in Guptkashi

Day 2: Guptkashi → Kedarnath (Trek/Helicopter)

Rise early — today is the most awaited part of your journey.
We head to Sonprayag and then Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek. It’s about 16 km on foot, but we’re with you all the way — and if you choose, a helicopter ride can be arranged in advance.
By afternoon, reach Kedarnath. The air feels different here — thinner, purer, quieter.
Attend the evening darshan at the temple — the feeling is something words rarely do justice to.
🛏️ Stay near Kedarnath Temple

Day 3: Kedarnath to Guptkashi (Return)

You may want to visit the temple again in the early morning.
After a light breakfast, we begin our return journey — trekking or flying down.
Once back in Guptkashi, take the evening to rest your legs and heart — both will need it.
🛏️ Overnight in Guptkashi

Day 4: Guptkashi to Pipalkoti (Drive ~170 km / 6 hrs)

We start moving toward the next dham.
Today’s drive winds through valleys, small mountain villages, and pine forests. Pipalkoti is peaceful — a lovely place to stop for the night before heading to Badrinath.
🛏️ Overnight in Pipalkoti

Day 5: Pipalkoti → Badrinath → Rishikesh (Drive ~300 km)

An early start today — we head straight to Badrinath Temple, one of the most revered sites in Hinduism.
Take a dip in Tapt Kund (natural hot spring) before darshan. Explore Mana Village — India’s last village before the Tibet border.
Later, we begin the scenic descent to Rishikesh.
🛏️ Overnight in Rishikesh

Day 6: Rishikesh to Haridwar (Drive ~25 km)

After breakfast, soak in the morning calm at Rishikesh.
If time allows, visit Ram Jhula or attend Ganga Aarti before we drop you at Haridwar.
This journey ends, but something always stays with you.

Yes. With proper planning — including helicopter, gentle pacing, and reliable stays — even seniors can complete it comfortably.

Q: Do we need to pre-book Kedarnath helicopter tickets?
Yes, and we can assist with booking through IRCTC or government-approved sources. Availability depends on weather.

Q: When is the best time for Kedarnath-Badrinath Yatra?
Ideal months are May–June and September–October. Avoid July–August due to heavy rains and landslides.

Q: How challenging is the Kedarnath trek?
It’s a 16 km uphill trek and can be tough. But pony/doli and heli options make it doable for most.
